With the current COVID19 pandemic affecting everyone in different ways, we felt that we should show how we are ALL IN this together and doing our best to get through this tough situation. We know that everyone has been trying their best to stay connected to each other and we wanted to showcase some of the brilliant ways our student groups have been staying positive whilst keeping in touch via their shared interests.
Although everyone is finding this time extremely challenging, there are certain individuals who are struggling more than others and who are highly dependent on our Sheffield charity support services. These services are now being stretched more than ever, with limited support from the general public, due to the current lockdown measures being implemented. To help support these charities and their service users, we wanted to bring together the different Sheffield Students’ Union groups to demonstrate that we are All IN – Supporting Sheffield’s Homeless.
Please join us after the NHS clap at 20:05 on Thursday 7th May 2020 to enjoy a variety of our student group lockdown video submissions, as well as some important key updates from Help Us Help, Roundabout, Cathedral Archer Project, Ben’s Centre, St Wilfrid’s Centre and The Sunday Centre.
Follow and share the event link below to be united in staying positive, but by also helping raise awareness of the current issues being faced by Sheffield’s most vulnerable.
